Please fill out the form below to register for the event.

As part of the registration process, use the space below to submit a scenario you would like the panel to discuss during the session.

Here are a few examples to get you started:

1. You are the CEO of a lumber company. A mill with 60 employees in a town of 1200 people is breaking even but not producing profits for the company. Future profits are also expected to be flat. Your board of directors suggests closing down the mill, but you worry about the employees and their families. How do you respond to the board?

2. You are in charge of a team with offices in Vancouver and Calgary. An employee from your Vancouver office has a skill set that would be more valuable to the company in the Calgary office, but she has young kids and has expressed a desire to remain in Vancouver. Do you ask her to transfer?

3. You are a senior manager at a company owned by the Jones family. Jane Doe is a top performer who has worked at the company for 3 years. John Jones is an average performer who has been with the company for 1 year, and his uncle Bill is your boss, the CEO. When a management position on your team opens up, Bill asks you to promote his nephew John. When you argue that Jane is a better candidate for the position, Bill replies by saying “family first.” Who do you promote?
