2024 Summer Orchestra Camp Sign-ups
Do you wish we played MOVIE MUSIC, POP MUSIC, or "RADIO SONGS" in orchestra this year? Come play that kind of music in the Summer Orchestra!

This is a one week program providing an opportunity to have fun playing different types of music in a mixed-level environment. With the assistance of both professional music staff and a select group of high school string players, you will rehearse in full ensemble and smaller group settings. The Summer Orchestra will be run by Ms. Sarah Bowen, GMS Orchestra Director.

When: July 8th - July 12 from 8:00-11:30am
Concert for family and friends will be Friday, July 12th at 11am.

Where: GMS music wing

Payment: $150 per student; Checks must be made out to "Wakefield Public Schools" (includes tuition, camp t-shirt and any additional materials). Give checks to Ms. Bowen at GMS.

*All orchestra students who were in 5th, 6th, 7th, or 8th grade during the 2023-2024 school year may join! Yes, incoming 9th graders may join!*
