We are excited about your interest in your child's participation in Strongsville City Schools Early Learning Preschool Program.
In order to provide role models in all areas of development for our students, we include preschool aged Peer Models (children without disabilities) into the classroom. Please complete this application to tell us about your child.
Student selection will be completed via a lottery drawing with preference given to current/former students & families. Location and time of session preference cannot be guaranteed.
Applications for the 2026-27 school year will be accepted until January 15th. Families will be notified no later than January 20th of acceptance, waitlist placement (if needed), and next steps. After January 15th, families who apply will be placed on our waitlist and notified if a spot becomes available. If you receive a spot, you will need to complete the registration process. A $185 deposit is due at the time of registration and will be applied to your 1st month's tuition. This deposit is non-refundable after May 29th.
Requirements for students to attend our preschool program as a peer model:
1. Must be a resident of Strongsville City Schools
2. Must be at least 3 years of age on or before August 18th, 2026 and less than 6 years of age by August 18th, 2026.
3. Strong communication and social skills and play skills are preferred
4. Must be completely toilet trained by August 1st, 2026 (no pull ups/diapers and independent with clothing and wiping)
5.There should be no concerns in any area of development (speech, social emotional, fine motor, gross motor, adaptive skills).
