Creative Backslash: from precarious individuals to resilient organizations
From 12 to 14 June, Nova Iskra will present a three-day international conference under the title Creative Backslash: from precarious individuals to resilient organizations, at the Cultural Center of Belgrade and Fabrika event space. The conference will bring together distinguished lecturers, artists, creative entrepreneurs, hub representatives, students, academics and policy makers from across Europe, Turkey, the UK and the Balkans. It will feature inspiring keynote lectures, presentations, panel discussions and workshops, engaging the participants in important dialogues about the future of creative professions, as well as the notions and challenges of precarious work, co-creation and resilience.
The conference will also touch upon some of the emerging issues, such as the relationship of creative work and mental health, gig economy and organization design and resilience, spread across three thematic modules: alone (individual), together (collaboration) and united (organization). The speakers will be representing well-known academic institutions and creative organizations from the UK, Slovenia, Serbia, Turkey, Greece, Portugal, and other countries. The full program will be announced on 20 May.
