Blue Humanities Survey
I am writing *An Introduction to the Blue Humanities* for Routledge Press. I’m hoping to gather some information about how people are using the term and working with these ideas. Please circulate this survey widely!

My working definition of blue humanities starts with the ocean but does not end there. This discourse includes all human relationships with water -- salt and fresh water, solid ice, gaseous vapor, and groundwater, among other physical and metaphorical forms that water takes. The hard part of the book will be gathering together so many different currents into one unified stream!

I am using the #coastalstudies group bibliography via Zotero: https://www.zotero.org/groups/2503094/coastal_studies/library
