GAM New Teacher Workshop
The Gifted Association of Missouri's 2025 New Teacher Workshop is 1.5 days of professional development in gifted education that is ideal for teachers who are in their first or second year of gifted education. Keynote Speaker Kathryn Fishman-Weaver will speak on the brain and giftedness. Other guest speakers will include talented, veteran, gifted educators from around the state. Topics will include curriculum design, creativity, identification, social & emotional learning, and so much more! 

Location: 5000 S Lindbergh, Idea Center, Lindbergh Schools, Saint Louis, Missouri 63126
Dates:  July 21 & 22, 2025
Times:  8:30 am - 4:00 pm on Monday; 8:30 am - 12:00 noon on Tuesday
Registration Fee:  $220 (covers Monday and Tuesday lunch and snacks; all other meals are on-your-own)*
*An invoice will be sent via PayPal; the invoice can be paid immediately with a credit/debit card or check.

A block of rooms is available July 20-22 at the 1-55/Butler Hill corridor (Holiday Inn Express & Suites St. Louis South (314) 894-0700 Provide the Group Code MCW) or Hampton Inn & Suites St. Louis/South I-55: (314) 894-1900 Provide the Group Code GAM), conveniently located less than 3 miles from Lindbergh Schools.
Register before July 14, 2025 for a special rate of $129 per night (plus taxes). Rooms need to booked by June 19th to secure this rate.

Registration Instructions:
If you need to register more than one attendee, please fill out this form for each attendee.  Each registration will receive a separate invoice for $220 via PayPal, to be emailed to the person designated to receive the invoice in this registration form; the invoice can be paid immediately with a credit/debit card or with a check mailed to: Gifted Association of Missouri, PO Box 181, Saint Joseph, MO 64502.  If your district requires an invoice to include a purchase order number on the invoice, please have that number ready before registering (and include in this form).
