Hello wonderful community of LP Brown Elementary School!

Amazing things happen at LP Brown Elementary because of our incredible leadership, teachers, staff, students and because of you - the parents, caregivers, and family members of our students.

What does a PTO do? Well, mostly we have fun and help ensure LP Brown Elementary continues to be a place where children's dreams can sprout and flourish.

Sometimes that means building a garden at the school, hosting the Fall Festival, or organizing the Running Club. Other times we're raising money for things our school needs that the Olympia School District cannot pay for like snacks for students, school bus charters for special events, STEAM night, and 5th grade graduation and yearbooks.

We also shower our paraprofessionals, teachers, other staff and leadership with love and goodies throughout the year, letting them know we see them and appreciate everything that they do.

We have incredible ideas for the future, but we need more helping hands, bright minds, and willing partners. This sign-up form is being used to gather your interests. We won't share your information with anyone else but will use this as a way to communicate with you on the things you want to do.

The PTO is always recruiting for the following positions. The commitment ranges per position and varies throughout the year. Let us know if you are interested and we'll follow-up to discuss what it might take and how to make the position work for you and your life. Thanks for considering these opportunities!

Co-President - this is a two-year term. Like to set the agenda? Always wanted to use a gavel? Have a student in K-3? Sounds like you'll make a great President!

Co-Treasurer - this is a two-year term. Like to manage money? Love a good balance sheet? Have a student in K-3rd grade? This may be the perfect position for you!

Co-Secretary - this is a two-year term. Fast typer? Love organization? Have a student in K-3rd grade? We have the perfect position for you!

Volunteer Coordinator - just like it sounds! Can be one-year or longer but we need your mad skills to help make all of our volunteer's dreams come true.

Wetlands + Cedar Grove Restoration Coordinator - whoa our trees are beautiful and just look at the new platform created for student education. Put your love for nature to work in this position. We're looking for several of you to join forces with Principal Shaughnessy and create the best outdoor education experience for all kids.

Fundraising Coordinator - our Vice-President is the absolute best at creating amazing events. Join forces with Lauren to create a fall fundraiser to remember! We're recruiting for several positions.
