GunSense NH Youth Advisory Board Application

GunSense NH, a project of Granite State Progress, is launching its Winter/Spring 2023 Youth Advisory Board. Open to youth ages 13-23, YAB members have the opportunity to learn more about gun violence prevention and gain skills to engage in legislative advocacy, media work, and public education around common sense public safety laws to save lives. Working together, YAB members have a hands-on opportunity to organize a community or statewide action.

Interested youth ages 13-23 years old should complete and submit this application. Initial deadline is February 13th, applications accepted on a rolling basis as space available post-date. This is a free youth leadership program and cohort, and support is available for students who need help with transportation to attend in-person GunSense NH Youth Advisory Board events.

Meeting Dates for Winter/Spring 2023

All meetings are virtual on Sundays at 5:30 pm unless otherwise stated. Recognizing busy lives and other commitments, participants are asked to attend at least 6 of the meetings listed below.

GunSense NH YAB members have the option to participate in additional statewide and regional events during the Winter/Spring cohort, including lobby days, media engagements, and community-based events.
