Folklorico Filipino Canada (FFC) Summer Dance Program 2026

This program is for beginners wanting to learn about Filipino culture and history through dance. Young dancers will explore various traditional dance styles from a foundation of the most famous dance suite we call Barrio. Participants will receive an FFC T-shirt and spend six classes learning basic forms, tinikling basics and at least one full dance to be performed at the end of program showcase event. Snacks will be provided and there is water onsite throughout the program.

The program will run from Jul 7 - Aug 13 and will conclude with a showcase on Aug 15, 2026

For 9-16yo: Thursday evenings from 6-8pm

Location: Filipino Centre Toronto, 4395 Sheppard ave E, Scarborough M1S 1T9

To register for the program please e-transfer the registration fee of $150 to transfer@folkloricofilipinocanada.ca. Or send the registration via PayPal to https://paypal.me/FolkloricoFilipinoC. In the notes, please include "FFC summer program registration - [your child's name]".

Note: A 10% discount will be given to participants in families with multiple children in the program. E.g. a family with 2 children will be given 20% off the total amount.
