About Spring Collection 2025/26: New Plays from Centre 42:

This March 2026, Centre 42 presents a vibrant line-up of showcases bringing brand-new stories to life.

Spring Collection 2025/26: New Plays from Centre 42 opens with: Pen Pals International 2025, a showcase featuring play-excerpts from writers in the UK and Singapore developed over a six-month online exchange programme.

It continues with the end-of-residency presentations from our Playwright’s Professional Development Residency (2024–2026), featuring four new plays exploring themes from the contradictions of being a Malay Muslim woman in Singapore to a gripping family drama uncovering long-buried secrets.

The programme concludes with a process sharing of Territori by our 2025/26 Writer-in-Residence Nabilah Said, a play she’s further developed over the past year.

Details of these dramatised readings are shared first with members of the Insider’s Club, so register to be part of it and experience these new works as they take shape and follow the stories as they unfold!
