Tri-Workshop Series for Returning & Prospective Study Abroad Students

A tri-workshop series for returning & study abroad students will be held this spring semester 2013! All three events will be held in the <font color="#F87431">Faculty Dining Room </font>inside the dining area of the Bernhard Center. Students are encouraged to participate in all three. See the list below and sign up for the workshops you are interested in attending:

<font color="#F87431"><b>1st workshop: What is Re-Entry (Feb. 27, 5 to 7 p.m.)</b></font> will be a roundtable discussion for study abroad alumni and will be a way to reflect on your international experience. Students will have the opportunity to participate in reflection activities, games, and learn more about a digital storytelling contest.

<font color="#F87431"><b>2nd workshop: Bridging Your Study Abroad and Career (Mar. 12, 5:30 to 7 p.m.)</b></font> Students will learn how you can use your study abroad or service-learning experience in writing a resume and interviewing tips for internships, graduate school, or post-graduation employment. <font color="red">Please bring your Bronco ID and a charged laptop to this session.</font>

<font color="#F87431"><b>3rd workshop: The Great Study Abroad Panel (Apr. 2, 5:30 to 7 p.m.)</b></font> In this last session, selected study abroad alumni will answer questions to prospective WMU and KVCC students who are planning to study or intern abroad during their educational journey. Participants of the workshop series who created a video or PowerPoint for the digital storytelling contest will be featured with participatory certificates to be announced.
