Technology Agreement
Students will initial after each statement acknowledging you've read and accept the technology agreement AND consequences in this class.  Parents will read and sign ONLY at the bottom of this form.

This form will send a copy of its content to the email entered in the first blank. This should be the parent/guardian.

We will go over this in class, but it is the student's responsibility to show it to his or her parents and have them sign it when you get home.

If I have a phone in my possession, I will turn it into the holder at the back of the room. If I do not and my phone is spotted (in my desk, in my hand, etc.), I will gladly allow Ms. Lippard to take it. (If I don't turn my phone in, I know that extra credit in this class is not an option for me-ever.) *
If my iMessage screen is visible at ANY time and for ANY reason, I understand that I will lose 5 points off a quiz grade AND that Ms. Lippard will report me and I will become a "standard user." *
If I am spotted playing any game (soccer boy, octagon, etc.) and I have not ASKED PERMISSION to play, I will lose 5 points off a quiz. I understand that I will lose 5 points every time this happens. *
If I have a problem accessing a file, program, etc. I will not sit at my desk like a knot on a log, I will ask my classmates and/or Ms. Lippard to help me. I will not give up until my problem has been solved. *
I understand that these rules are for my own good and that Ms. Lippard loves me and wants me to be successful. I understand that when she is gone, I will be expected to follow the same rules as I do now. *
When Ms. Lippard asks me to close my laptop screen, I will do it. I will not have to be asked twice. I understand that having to be asked repeatedly to do something makes me look stupid and will result in a loss of 5 points off a quiz grade each time it happens. *
This is the best one yet- I understand that if I have no technology issues from now until report cards that Ms. Lippard is willing to give me a whole point on my final average. *
