Retrieval Request Form (Bruce Peel Special Collections)
All researchers (including students, faculty, visiting scholars, and members of the general public) must request rare materials through the library catalogue or by submitting a Retrieval Request Form before 8am on the day of their planned visit (at the very latest) in order to be sure that rare materials have been retrieved from storage and are available for their use. If you have any questions, please contact library staff at
or call 780-492-5998 during Peel's regular business hours (Mon-Fri 12:30-4:30pm).

Bruce Peel Special Collections is open 12:30-4:30pm Monday-Friday.
Professors putting items "on hold" for students in a particular class should indicate the course code and date range (up to three weeks) here:
1. Provide title and call number for first item
Example: A Social Departure (PS 8455 O87 S65 1890a)
2. Provide title and call number for second item (if applicable)
3. Provide title and call number for third item (if applicable)
4. Provide title and call number for fourth item (if applicable)
5. Provide title and call number for fifth item (if applicable)
6. Provide title and call number for sixth item (if applicable)
