Application for Professional Certification Project, Level III
Level III Certification recognizes the recipient as a prominent Creative Motion authority and prepares the awardee to teach Creative Motion principles in depth. They will be actively involved in the study and advancement of Creative Motion principles, and will be recognized as a master teacher at Creative Motion Alliance sponsored workshops.  

The requirements are the following.

1. Possesses Level II Certification.
2. Submission of the following:
  • A written scope & sequence of 4 Creative Motion concepts (A scope refers to the topics and areas of development within a curriculum, and the sequence is the order in which those skills are taught.)
  • Written Lesson plans (1 hour in length) for each of the 4 concepts above.
  • Videotape of one of the planned lessons
  • Creative Motion analysis of a 16 bar music example (Chapter 15) using music explored in one of the lessons above.  Include markings for Harmonic Beats (Chapter 9),  Melodic Respiration (Chapter 9), Phrase Impulse/Climax/Length in Harmonic Beats (Chapters, 2, 12)
  • An essay relating their own history of learning and implementing Creative Motion including what was particularly successful and what was more difficult to grasp.

All require advance approval of the Certification Committee.  Faculty appointments are made by the Board of Directors.  You may only count Windswept Teaching experience that has already taken place.  The goal of this category is for candidates to make a significant impact on the Creative Motion community as well as expose others to this work.

3.  You will receive confirmation of receipt of your application within one week.
4.  The application will be reviewed by the Certification Committee and a response will be sent within one month of the application.
