WVAEA Conference Presentation Submission
Welcome to the 2023 WVAEA Conference

The WVAEA leadership team welcomes WVAEA members and non-members to submit conference presentations for the 2023 West Virginia Art Education Association Conference, October 20th and 21st, 2023.  The conference will be held at Fairmont State University campus, utilizing its arts facilities such as the Illustration Room, Computer Labs, Maker Space, Ceramics Studio, Art Education Rooms, Printmaking Studio, 3-D Design Studio, Painting Studio, Sculpture Studio, and Architectural Space.  All presentations will be 1 hour and 30 minutes.  There will be two panel discussions held during the conference.  Each session will be 1 hour and 30 minutes that will be divided equally according to how many presenters are chosen. All panel presentations will be recorded for future viewing.

Presentation submission does not guarantee that your proposal will be accepted.  The WVAEA Conference committee will choose the proposals that create a cohesive experience in order to strengthen and elevate the art education profession in our state.

The Proposal Deadline is August 11th,  If your presentation has been chosen to be part of the conference, you will receive a congratulatory email by Oct 2nd, stating the day, time, and room where you are to present at the conference.   The entire conference schedule will be up at https://wvaea.com for all to see.
