STEM-MESA Requirements:
- Aim to attend one hour per week (average) of MESA workshops, events, mentoring, tutoring, or counseling during the regular school year
- Submit a brief personal statement with this application (or email it to

- Agree to meet with MESA, STEM, or Transfer Counselor once per semester.
MESA Requirements:
- Your major must require calculus in most cases (one exception is students who plan to transfer to pursue animal science)
- Be a first generation college student
- Must have financial need OR be part of an underserved or underrepresented population
- Aim to attend one hour per week (average) of MESA workshops, events, mentoring, tutoring, or counseling during the regular school year
