Cabin Row at Pilgrim Lodge
The Maine Art Education Association is pleased to sponsor the 6th annual Summer Art Making retreat - no agenda except for time to breathe, relax, and create. Spouses, partners, family and friends are welcome.

July 29-August 1st at Pilgrim Lodge in West Gardiner, ME.

$280 includes all food and lodging.
$350 if you choose an extra day until Aug 2nd.

All 17 cabins have bathrooms, showers, and screened-in porches and are connected by boardwalk to the Main Lodge. The lodge has 4 large rooms for setting up your projects and a porch with rocking chairs for simply hanging out and gazing at the lake.

NEWS FLASH!! PL held a fundraiser to buy new adult friendly mattresses for the whole camp and met the goal by the end of March! We'll have new mattresses-wooohooo!!

The waterfront (with lifeguards, paddle boards, canoes, and kayaks) is open at least twice a day, sometimes more, should you choose to take a break from art-making. There are also 100 acres of woods with trails and a forest labyrinth for even more natural inspiration.

Join us for three or four days of camaraderie and creativity (and 20 or 25 Contact Hours)! And don't forget to bring items to donate to the Silent Auction AND items to sell at the Artisan's Market.

Our cabins have between 3 and 4 bunk beds plus the porch bed.(sleeps 7 or 9)  It is understandable that some folks have preferences for best sleeping times. What's yours?
We can't guarantee this will work but we'll give it a try.
Do you have someone you'd like to bunk with? Got a bunch of friends? Request them here! Hopefully you'll all be in agreement!
The MAEA and Pilgrim Lodge welcome and affirm members of all sexualities and gender identities and we will do our best to ensure all conference attendees are given housing that they feel comfortable with. Please indicate below your housing preferences (select all options that you would be comfortable rooming with).
This is where you can request a porch. Every cabin has a screened-in porch and bed. This is where you can really hear the loons! (you can also hear everybody walk by on the boardwalk)
The porches are a hot commodity so they are on a first come first serve basis.

We have a few partial scholarships available! Please check if you qualify below. The funds we have are from the silent auction from last year. We will contact you to let you know if you receive a scholarship.
