Game Rules & Regulations
WWE 2K17 Championship Rules and Regulations –
TOURNAMENT MECHANICS
1. All games will be played using WWE 2K17 for Sony PlayStation 4.
2. Knockout Format.
3. All games will be played using Superstars in a Normal match mode with normal rules using normal pace.
4. You are permitted to use any of the superstars in the main roster
5. You are permitted to change superstars during the tournament.
6. If two competing players want to play with the same superstar, they will have to flip a coin to decide who gets to use that superstar in front of a Marshal.
7. Players can win via pinfalls, submissions or count outs.
8. Players are allowed to bring their own PS4 controller.
9. No food and drinks in the playing area
GAME SETTINGS
1. All Settings and Camera Views are DEFAULT aside from those specified here.
2. Players are not allowed to use any managers
3. Entrances should be set to off and momentum should be set to normal
4. Game settings should be using default settings
MISCELLANEOUS RULES
1. In the event of an outage of power, accidental unplugging, system freeze or some other event not in either player’s control that would not allow the participants to finish the game, the judge has the control to decide whether or not a restart of the match is warranted.
2. Players are allowed to carry their own controller / headsets which they want to use.
3. GLITCH RULES:
Remember, once this happens you must pause the game immediately and call for a judge to come and review the play. DO NOT take the liberty of reviewing the play before contacting a judge.
4. PENALTIES FOR BREAKING THE RULES:
If you feel that your opponent is cheating, notify a judge. The judge’s decision is final and if the player is deemed to be cheating, they can be kicked out of the Tournament and all future tournaments.
5. CONDUCT:
Please refrain from using “in-your-face” foul language. Also, please be respectful of all other players. The judges have final say over what is “respectful”, and you may be disqualified from the tournament if you do not cooperate.
*Narcotics of any kind is not permitted in the tournament facility.
*No sideline coaching is allowed. You may not offer advice to anyone playing a game.
*If you are more than 10 minutes late to a game’s posted time, you forfeit that game.
*Any player that purposely turns off a game while it is in progress shall forfeit that game.
*No verbal or physical threats of violence to other tournament participants. This will result in your immediate disqualification from the tournament.
6. LIABILITY
*We are not responsible for property stolen, broken or lost during the tournament.
*All decisions by the Judges about any aspect of the tournament are final.
7. ADDITIONAL IN-GAME RULES:
*We reserve the right to add, delete or change and of the above rules at any time during the tournament, especially when a new glitch is found.
*By agreeing to participate in the video game tournament, you grant full permission to the event organizers, with no obligation to compensate you, to use your name, voice, statements, image, likeness, and/or actions, in addition to any photographs, videotapes, motion pictures, recordings, and/or other record of your performance(s) in the Events in perpetuity worldwide in any manner and in any and all media, whether now known or hereafter devised (the “Materials”), and represent that you have the right to grant such permission.
•Participant should be an Indian citizen •The participant has to enter this competition in his/her personal capacity and not as a business, i.e. a company, close corporation, trust, partnership or any other ·legal entity cannot participate •By entering the event you make a commitment to play fairly and in accordance with the rules. All players are asked to behave humanely towards other competitors and members of the Tournament administration team •All matches will be played on PlayStation 4 console only •Participants can carry their own gaming gear •The organiser reserves the right to disqualify, in its sole discretion, any Entrant who breaches these Rules or is guilty of cheating, inappropriate behavior or any other misconduct •If there are fewer than sixteen (16) Entrants competing, the organiser reserves the right to cancel the Regional Tournament. The maximum number of Entrants will be determined at the organiser’s discretion •The participants will be drawn against one another at random by the organiser in the organiser’s sole discretion •The organiser may want to film, photograph or otherwise record Entrants at any stage of the Tournament and by any means. Entrants shall be deemed to give the organiser and its associated companies, licensees and assigns permission to undertake such recording and to - (i) Edit, alter, reproduce, publish and distribute any such photographs, recordings and films or anything derived from them (the “Material”) in any medium; and (ii) Use the Material, in whole or in part, for any purposes it deems necessary to promote, advertise or exploit the products of the Promoter and/or its associated companies, licensees and assigns, and anything connected with or derived from them in perpetuity and throughout the universe.
