2024-2025 Course Requests for 7th Graders

We are excited to welcome you back to Pin Oak in the fall!

Course requests will be open from May 19 - May 31. You may return and edit your submission as many times as you'd like. If you submit more than one entry, your most recent entry will be used, any previous submission will be removed.

These requests are NOT a guarantee that you will be placed into these specific courses. There are many factors that go into creating a schedule including standardized and district assessment results. All electives are year-long electives.

All 7th graders are required to take a PE course this may be fulfilled by Dance/Hip Hop.

Intervention will be required for any student who scores approaches grade level or below on their 6th grade STAAR test. This means a student could be double blocked in MATH and or ENGLISH LANGUAGE ARTS.

Your requests will be taken into consideration by the House Assistant Principals when scheduling for next year. Schedules will not be finalized and are subject to change. Requests are in no way guaranteed.
