The Art Club  is hosting a one-off drawing workshop by Nelson Ferreira, a Portuguese drawing specialist, who will be visiting KAUST in early December, 2023.

Nelson is offering a 3 hour drawing workshop on Sunday 10th December, from 7:00 – 10:00pm, in the Art Studio in the IRC.

Nelson specialises in the classic Barque style of drawing, which uses charcoal for realistic representations and shading techniques, such as the classic drawings, above. For information on Nelson and his amazing work, please go to this link:

The fee for the workshop will be SAR 200 in cash, payable at the class on Sunday 10th Dec, which will include all the materials, such as charcoal, pencils and paper, .

This workshop is open to any KAUST residents, adults and Middle or High School students, who are interested in learning drawing techniques.
