Players will be ranked based on current computer rating points and ranking list when the draw takes place, based on a 1* Tournament.

The above is a guide only as the playing schedule will vary according to size of entry. Graded groups of 6/7/8 based upon number of entries. Players will be grouped based on the latest computer rankings/ratings list. Open events will be created to ensure a minimum of 5 matches are played. The organising committee reserves the right to modify the group sizes in light of entries received; any amendments to times will be communicated via email. 

Players may enter more than 1 event, 1 in the morning and 1 in the afternoon (see detail on entry form).
Players in the various events must have been born as follows: Under 11 (2015 or later), Under 13 (2013 or later), Under 15 (2011 or later), Under 19 (2007 or later). Players of all ages can enter senior events. 

Trophies will be awarded to all 1st and 2nd placed positions. 

Registration and practice from 9:00am, with play to commence at 9:30am.

15. All entries and event details are subject to COVID-related restrictions, or protocols that Table Tennis England may deem necessary. Venues used for events may impose COVID restrictions that go beyond government guidance.

17. TTE, the Organisers and the Referee will not tolerate bad language or verbal abuse of volunteers, officials, staff or venue staff, nor a failure to follow the operational directions of stewards and event staff. We will treat all such instances extremely seriously and will take disciplinary action if necessary. For further details, please see the Table Tennis England Workforce Protection Policy.

Entry Provisions

1. Closing date for entry is Sunday 21st December 2025 at 5:00 pm.
2. If it becomes necessary to restrict entries, priority will be given in order of receipt.
3. No entry will be accepted after the draw has been made.

Regulations

1. Every entrant must be affiliated as a Compete Member or provide proof of being a member of another National Association in membership of the ITTF in order to gain a reciprocal membership. An entrant who is not a TTE member or is affiliated as a Supporter or Club Play Member may alternately purchase a One-Off Tournament Pass at the time of entry via https://tabletennisengland.sport80.com/ once this product is launched. It is not possible to obtain the OTTP at the tournament.
2. TTE Regulations Part A (Regulated Competitions) and Part B (Tournament Regulations) apply to the tournament.
3. ITTF Regulations for International Competitions apply to the tournament except where otherwise specified in TTE Regulations Parts A or B, or in this form.
4. Completion and submission of this Entry Form signifies agreement by the entrant to the regulations of the
competition including any variations of ITTF regulations and must be sent to birminghamttacademy@gmail.comFull payment at point of entry will be required to secure your entry. Entries received with no payment will not be entered. 
5. There will be no refunds after the closing date.
6. All matches shall be the best of five games. The final order in a group shall be determined as per ITTF regulation 3.7.5 for group competitions.
7. All competitors will be required to umpire at least one match in each event entered.
8. System of play: Graded groups of up to 7 players in the morning. Groups and knockouts in the afternoon. When a player is eliminated from a knockout, they will be required to umpire one more match before leaving. 
9. Players of all ages are eligible to enter a Senior event.
10. Main colour of clothing must be different from colour of ball.
11. No competitor or official shall engage in betting on players or matches.
12. Doping shall not take place either before or during play.
13. Completion and submission of this Entry Form signifies agreement by the entrant to the conditions of the competition, including any variations of ITTF regulations.


Playing conditions and equipment

1. Play will take place on 12 Waldner Classic 25 tables (ITTF approved) with Donic clip Pro net and posts, and white Butterfly R40+ balls and score indicators for all matches
2. Court sizes will be at least 9m x 4.5m with barriers surrounding each court. Ceiling height from floor of lighting over table 6 metres, general LED lighting minimum 300 lux. Playing floor is wood.

Information

1. Doping control tests may take place
2. Practice will only be permitted prior to the event starting
3. Changing facilities: are available separate for men and women, hot showers are available.
4. Car parking is available free of charge
5. Prizes: Trophies will be awarded at the end of the event to all 1st and 2nd places.
6. Photo/livestreaming (Birmingham TT Academy) may be taking photos and live streaming matches during this event which may include (but not limited to), using them in our printed and online platforms, social media, press releases and funding applications. If you do not give permission to take photographs and/or video of you (or individuals for whom you are legally responsible), please contact birminghamttacademy@gmail.comPlease be aware that we follow the Table Tennis England’s Photo and live streaming Policy.
7. Players to bring adequate water and refreshments as the venue provides no catering. It is a vegan venue, so no meat, fish or egg products inside the venue.
8. There is no charge for admission to the venue.
9. Entry fees will not be refunded for cancellations made on and after Sunday 21st December 2025.
