Dear Parent/Caregiver,

2026 North Otago Primary Schools 7-a-side Rippa Rugby Tournament is being held for all Primary Schools in the North Otago Rugby region. Please read all the information below. You can indicate whether you give permission for your child to attend by filling out the permission form and returning it to school on Friday 7th  March.

WHEN AND WHERE:

Friday 13th March, at Awamoa Park. 8.45 am - 2.30 pm

INFO:

• Your child needs to meet at Awamoa Park in their PE gear on Friday. A staff member will be there to take a roll. They do not need to go to school at all as they will be released from here at the end of the day.

• Each team will have a parent/staff member who will act as a manager, helping to organise subs etc.

• You are welcome to come along and support your child.

PLAYER REGISTRATIONS:

Every participant is required to complete an online NZRU registration form. We do appreciate your support with registering ALL players; this enables us to record participation figures on rugby in our region and also for ACC purposes. We will fill out your child's registration form with the information you provide us below. I will send out the link next week once you have given permission for your child to play. PARENT HELPERS:

We cannot enter teams without an adult in charge of each one. If you are able to help coach/manage a team for the day, PLEASE add your details below in the form.

WHAT EQUIPMENT DOES MY CHILD NEED?

• Students need to come to school in P.E. gear. 

• Lots of morning tea.

• Water bottle.

• OIS jersey, or OIS sports hoodie, or OIS jacket.

• Hat

• All players are able to play in either bare feet or running shoes. NO TOUCH OR RUGBY BOOTS ALLOWED

THIS FORM NEEDS TO BE COMPLETED BY THIS FRIDAY 20th FEBRUARY.
