We encourage you to participate in both the Alumni Band on Friday night and the Centennial Homecoming Celebration on Saturday night!
There is a separate registration fee for both events which you will find below. The link to pay the registration fee and/or buy tickets for the Centennial Celebration will be available upon completion of the form. We look forward to seeing you in September!

Alumni Band Event
Date: Friday, September 11, 2026
Location: Dobyns Bennett High School Instrumental Music Building and J. Fred Stadium
Registration Fee: $10
- 4:00pm - 5:30pm Registration/Instrument Pickup/Flip Folder Pickup and Receive Alumni Band T-shirt and Free Game Ticket.
- 4:00pm - 5:30pm Reception in the DB Band Building.
- 5:45pm - 6:15pm Run through Pregame with current DB Band.
- 6:15pm March to the stadium with current DB Band.
- 6:30pm Warhoop
- 6:55pm Pregame Performance
- After pregame, alumni can sit in the designated area next to the band, any available general admission seat or in your own seat if you have season tickets. You will not be playing with the band during the game or at halftime, so enjoy the game!
- Music: a link to music will be sent out to you after you register. There will be a video of the choreography sent if you are doing color guard.
- Dress Code: Wear the official Alumni Band T-shirt (included with your $10 registration fee and will be available when you arrive to the Band Building) and comfortable pants/shorts and shoes. The $10 registration fee for the T-shirt is only if you plan to attend the Alumni Band Event on Friday.
Homecoming Celebration
Date: Saturday, September 12, 2026
Time: 6:00pm
Location: Kingsport Farmers Market
Ticket Price: $40
We hope you will join us in celebrating the 100th year of the Dobyns Bennett High School Band with an evening dedicated to everyone that has been a part of, or supported the DB Band over the years. This program means a lot to so many people as well as the community in Kingsport. This event will honor the people, performances and the memories that have shaped the DB Band over its 100 years of existence!
The event will include food (BBQ), music, student performances and silent and live auction items to raise money to help economically challenged students get to the Macy's Parade!
