Reconnecting 40 years of marine alumni worldwide
Over the past four decades, the FAME, ECOMAMA, and Oceans & Lakes programmes have built a global community of marine professionals. Through OceanConnectXL – marking 40 years of marine education and alumni worldwide – we aim to reconnect this network and strengthen collaboration across continents.
We are updating our alumni database as part of OceanConnectXL, funded by FWO (Research Foundation Flanders) and supported by the VLIR-UOS ICP Connect programme.
By completing this short survey, you will help us to:
- Update the Oceans & Lakes Alumni Compendium
- Map expertise across the global alumni network
- Identify mentors and thematic experts
- Organise networking meetings and knowledge exchanges through OORI (Oceans of Opportunities, Rivers of Ideas), the Oceans & Lakes alumni network
- Stimulate collaborations and joint project proposals among alumni and partners
Please share professional updates you are comfortable with. By providing your email address, you consent to being contacted by the Oceans & Lakes Coordination Team about alumni activities, networking opportunities, and programme updates.
