Workshop: Technologies/Infrastructures required to realize smart mobility and the next generation transportation environment
A. Introduction
Mobility is the lifeblood of the development of the economy and society. Especially, when the digital transformation is happening in all fields, smart mobility has become a global trend. Therefore, in recent years, the development of a new generation technology in smart mobility has become an inevitable and urgent issue in the world and especially for Vietnam.

In Vietnam, although the issue of smart mobility has been mentioned many times, this is still a controversial area when Vietnam does not have a system of standards, infrastructure, equipment and facilities, as the legal framework is not fully implemented. To build the above conditions, it is necessary to have consensus from scientists, managers and related businesses.

Understanding the above inevitable needs, The Innovation and Technology Service Center realizes that the exchange of information between the above parties is extremely urgent and important. Therefore, The Innovation and Technology Service Center under the Vietnam Institution of Science, Technology and Innovation - Ministry of Science and Technology organized the seminar " The next generation technology in smart mobility in the world and implementation capability in Vietnam to provide multi-dimensional perspectives as well as expert opinions on the vision of the future of smart mobility.

B. The purpose of Workshops:
- Introduce a number of technology trends, new technology solutions in the field of new generation Smart Mobility (5G, V2X, smart mobility,...)
- Experience in deploying new transportation technologies in some countries around the world.
- An overview of current barriers facing the implementation of new generation Smart Mobility (legal framework, policies, technical standards, etc.)
- Overview of resources to deploy new mobility technology solutions in Vietnam
