Eco-Reps Spring Application

We are currently accepting applications for (1) College House Exec Board, (2) Social Planning and Events Coordinator (SPEC), (3) Athletics Eco-Reps, and (4) Greek Eco-Reps. If you are applying for an Exec position, you must have been an Eco-Rep in one of the programs this year.

-Enthusiasm for environmental and community engagement
-General knowledge of environmental issues
-Ability to commit time outside of meetings
-Experience with event planning
-Good time management skills
-Experience working in teams

COLLEGE HOUSE EXEC BOARD (Applications due April 6th)
-Meet weekly with other board members to organize and plan college house eco-reps meetings
-Facilitate weekly college house eco-reps meetings and assemble engaging material for discussion & activities
-Attend semi-weekly eco-reps exec board meetings with all board members
-Fulfill eco-rep duties within their house's group
-3 hours minimum per week

SPEC COORDINATOR (Exec Position) (Applications due April 6th)
-Coordinate a 3-member SPEC team consisting of one member from each community (athletics, greeks, and college house)
-Coordinate lunchtime speaker events
-Assist with planning events for all eco-reps - such as trips, community service, and guest speaker events
-Serve as the liaison between Eco-Reps and SSAP
-Attend semi-weekly eco-reps exec board meetings
-2-3 hours minimum per week

ATHLETICS ECO-REPS (Applications due Sunday, April 6th)
- Commit to a weekly lunchtime meeting throughout the year (arranged around members' schedules)
- Assist in coordinating initiatives, such as the Shoebox Recycling Program and recycling on away-trips for varsity teams
- Assist in coordinating large-scale events, such as engaging with fans for Zero Waste Games and during Penn Relays
- Partner with other Penn Athletics varsity and club teams for events
- 2 hours minimum per week (1 hour meeting & 1 hour outside work)

GREEK ECO-REPS (Applications due Wednesday, April 16)
-Coordinate with house manager and event planners within chapter to implement sustainability initiatives
-Work within house to promote education about sustainability
-Educate new members in chapter about how they can contribute to the sustainability of the chapter
-Come up with use of funds for chapter
-Attend bi-weekly meetings with other eco-reps
