AMSA Reproductive Health - Advocacy Training Interest Form - Fall 2023

We at the American Medical Student Association (AMSA) believe that abortion services are a vital component of reproductive health care; that physicians who provide abortion care are essential to our communities; and that their practice should be legally protected and available to all in need regardless of how much they earn, who they work for, or what state they live in.

The AMSA Abortion Care & Reproductive Health Project is dedicated to advancing these values, and will be offering advocacy training sessions in conjunction with AMSA's Gender & Sexuality Action Committee beginning in Fall 2023.

Skill-building action sessions will help future physicians develop and use their voices effectively to advocate for reproductive health and freedom:

Engage state, federal and institutional policy-makers
Write Letters-to-the-Editor, Op-Eds, and blog posts
Use social media to share info and mobilize for action
Gather & share stories to give voice to data, build power & engage supporters
