Mentorship Women's Application - San Jose Locations
Thank you for your interest in becoming a mentor in one of our San Jose CityTeam Women’s Programs. CityTeam values the contribution mentors make in the journey of our residents, however, we recognize that being a mentor is not for everyone. Thank you for understanding that submitting an application does not guarantee that you will qualify to become a mentor.
Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labor: If either of them falls down, one can help the other up. But pity anyone who falls and has no one to help them up. Ecclesiastes 4:9-12
MENTORS GUIDELINE INFORMATION
Required Time Commitment: 1 hour once a week until graduation (up to 8-10 months)
Who: A Christian woman who committed her life to Christ, trusted Jesus as her Lord and Savior, recognizes that she is redeemed, forgiven, and a new creation in Him, is a disciple that strives to obey the commands of Christ, and has a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. We have women mentor other women.
Vision: To become a friend for a woman in our program and show what a woman of God looks like. Model how you handle adversity, temptations, and other life obstacles. Be a good listener, help them process and navigate the challenges they face, and offer coaching and suggestions where needed.
