As a voluntary participant, I understand the inherent risks of physical activity and agree to release Knapsack Dance Studio, Knapsack Productions, its employees, and instructors from any claims or liabilities arising from my/my child's participation. I also consent to the use of my/my child’s image in Knapsack Dance Studio's marketing materials and confirm that I have read and understood the Knapsack Dance Studio Regulations."
STUDIO REGULATIONS :
Health and Safety:
- Students/Clients must inform the instructor of any injuries or health concerns.
- No food, gum, or drinks (other than water) in the studio.
- Proper warm-ups and cool-downs are encouraged to prevent injuries.
Dress Code:
- Proper dance attire is required, such as leotards, tights, dance shoes, or any specified uniform.
- Jewelry, accessories, or loose clothing are permitted, but participants are advised to take safety precautions to avoid injury.
Behavior and Conduct:
- Respectful behavior towards instructors, fellow students, and staff is required at all times.
- No disruptive behavior will be tolerated during classes.
Parental Involvement (for minors):
- Parents are asked to drop off and pick up students on time.
- Observing classes are allowed only after the class, in the last group performance. Parents must stay outside in the lobby during the class.
Liability and Assumption of Risk:
- Participants are responsible for their own belongings.
- The studio is not liable for lost or stolen items.
- Participation is at one's own risk, and the studio is not liable for injuries.
Image and Media Consent:
- The studio may use photos and videos of participants for promotional purposes, with prior consent.
Payment/Cancellation Policies:
- Fees must be paid in advance for pre-registration or according to the studio’s schedule for walk-in payments made over the counter.
- If the student/client paid past the scheduled cut-off (6:00 PM a day before the chosen class) the student/client must pay the remaining balance for the walk-in rate.
- No rescheduling is allowed. However, participants may transfer the paid class to a friend or colleague, but only for the original class time they initially chose or registered for.
- No refunds are provided for missed classes.
