The Newtown Foundation, the charitable arm of The Newtown Action Alliance, is planning the second annual National Vigil for All Gun Violence Victims in Washington D.C. on December 11th leading up to the second anniversary of the Sandy Hook tragedy and in honor of all gun violence victims, and your participation is requested.

We are fundraising to offer financial assistance to immediate family members of victims and survivors of gun violence who would like to participate and/or attend any or all the events planned. Residents from Newtown and other areas from Connecticut may travel on the chartered bus(es) departing from Newtown as space allows.

We are in the process of negotiating for discounted group rates for lodging and we hope to offer grants to offset some of the travel and lodging expenses for the families of victims and survivors of gun violence.  We will be asking our guests to make their own travel/lodging arrangements.

Wednesday: December 10th
1:30 Press Conference
2:30 Legislative Meetings with NAA &
        Vigil Invitation/Coalition Background Check Letter Delivery

Thursday: December 11th
9:00 Legislative Meetings with NAA
3:00-4:30 National Vigil for All Gun Violence Victims
