Open for Week of Soul Headliner

The Committee for Black Cultural Programming (CBCP) of University Union would like to extend the UGA student body the opportunity to open for the 2013 Week of Soul headliner. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to perform a short piece of poetry/spoken-word to set the stage for one of the most notable figures of our time. If that isn't exciting enough, filling out this form is just the first step in making this dream a reality!

Auditions will be held on Tuesday, January 22 from 6:30pm until 8pm in Tate Room 142 before a small panel of judges. We ask that you perform for no longer than 5 minutes and note that it will be recorded for judging purposes.

The finalist will perform on Tuesday, February 5th at our Week of Soul event.

This form is due by Tuesday, January 22nd NO LATER THAN 12pm.
