With the desire to make a positive difference and a vision to build leadership in girls, the Superhero program was created. A curriculum was developed to empower girls with the skills needed to face challenges in today’s society. It focuses on teaching girls to first lead themselves, and then to lead others. Topics such as courage, trust, & believing in themselves will be explored. Being proactive and finding value from within will develop as the lessons build upon one another. Through lessons, games and activities, we hope to offer room for the growth of inner strength and confidence.
This 5 day program will be held at GIS directly after school.

We/I hereby release Ball-Chatham School District #5 and the people and facilities involved with the Superheroes program from all claims on account of injuries which may be sustained by our/my child while attending this program; and we/I agree to indemnify the Ball-Chatham School District #5 and the people and facilities involved with the Superheroes program for any claim which may hereafter be presented by our/my child as a result of any such injuries.
Furthermore, we/I certify that our/my child has had a physical examination and is physically able to participate in sports activities. In the event of illness or injury, we/I hereby give consent for medical treatment and permission to the attending physician to hospitalize and secure proper treatment.
Parents must sign this release.
