The council welcomes nominations AND self-nominations for all service and leadership activities throughout the year. Committee members may be appointed by the President with approval of the steering committee as needed throughout the year.

A candidate for an elected office must be a member in good standing for the two years proceeding nomination. Candidates for elected office will be interviewed by the Elections and Nominations committee. Applications are due by Feb 15, 2023 to be considered for placement on the official ballot. The successful elected candidate(s) will assume duties and responsibilities of office at the business meeting of the council to be held at the annual ITEEA Conference.
