PsyCare is an umbrella term for volunteer-based, peer-led harm reduction services supporting people who are having or have had challenging drug-related experiences at music festivals and large-scale events.
If you would like to work at psy festivals with a gentle and supporting group, then you are at the right place :)
FYI - THE VOLUNTEER INTAKE PROCESS
All of these steps are mandatory for new volunteers.
Step 1. Sign up via this form
Step 2. Come to an Induction (it's a welcome event where you can get to know us)
Step 3. Become an official member of our Verein
Step 4. Apply to a Festival Team
Step 5. Get selected to a Festival Team
Step 6. Complete a free Training at the start of the selected Festvial (or attend one of the paid trainings in Vienna or Graz beforehand)
>>> Newbies will likely be accepted to smaller events first, so you can gain experience and confidence in a low-risk setting, get familiar with our dynamics and try yourself in various roles.
By submitting the form, you consent to be added to our 'potential volunteers' pool & to be contacted about the upcoming trainings and interventions. Don't worry though, we hate spam and you can opt out any time.
