Queer Cultural Center's: Grant writing basics for artists workshop

A free grant writing workshop for LGBTQ+ artists that includes three separate learning sections. We encourage you to register for one or all three. Please note the last section is only open to applicants to the CQC program. Space is limited to 20 participants.
12-1pm // Grantwriting 101: basics of identifying and applying to funding
1-2pm // Grant Jam: An opportunity to ask grant writing strategy questions of QCC's development staff and workshop participants. Receive feedback on your current or past proposals.
2-3pm // Only open to applicants of QCC's Creating Queer Community (CQC) program. An opportunity to receive direct feedback on the CQC Program application.

GRANT WRITING & FUNDING EXPERIENCE
To help us get a sense of the experience in the room and create the most effective workshop experience, let us know what your experience level is in grant writing and receiving funding. If you can be specific that would be wonderful.
Have you written and received grants specifically for your arts projects? Have you written grants for other people or organizations, but not for yourself? Is this your first foray into the grant writing world?

Accessibility: The SF LGBT Center is an ADA compliant venue. Gender neutral bathrooms are approximately 50 feet from the classroom

Language Access: Hand-outs will be provided in large print and Spanish, the workshop will be presented in English.
