We (Alexis and Adam) are having a community celebration of our marriage on Saturday, May 23rd 2015 at Waneka Lake Park (address: 1600 Caria Dr Lafayette, CO 80026 map: http://goo.gl/6jtrtn) from 4PM-9PM.

We would love it if you could join us in this celebration. Please bring loved ones, including children. We have reserved the two shelters on the South end of the lake and have liquor and noise permits for 150 people. There is a playground, picnic tables, 2 large charcoal grills, and paddle boats as well as a walk that circumnavigates the lake (1.2 miles), a 9-hole Frisbee golf course, as well as a small wildlife preserve.

We envision holding a space where our family and friends will spontaneously perform music, dance, poetry, and other performing arts while sharing favorite foods. All are invited to participate.

There will be no opening and closing circles, so come when you can, but we will be having a ritual including community members around 7 o'clock (after plenty of eating and fun).

The weather should be warm (upper 70's) during the day and drops quickly after dark (around 8:30) to the low 50's.

Attire is festive/casual as this is a picnic setting. If you have them, bring contact clothes and knee pads as we expect to have a vinyl dance floor.

You do not need to bring gifts - your presence and help with creating this celebration (food, drinks, entertainment, community) truly is your gift. If you MUST, then you may contribute to our France skiing honeymoon fund.
