IITH users can book the Group Discussion Rooms (GDR) and other KRC facilities (for Faculty only) as per the seating capacity either offline at the KRC - Circulation Desk or through Online using this Booking Form. Once the requested booking is confirmed, an email will be sent to your email id.
A. Group Discussion Rooms (GDR) @ IITH-KRC
GDR Booking facility is available for a minimum of 3 or more users, and room will be allocated as per the no. of users. Once booking is confirmed, you may collect the key from the Circulation desk by depositing your ID cards.
Before booking the GDR, you may check once for the availability at GDR Booking-KRC-2024 - Google Sheets.
B. KRC Facilities Booking (Only for Faculty)
- Virtual Classroom (GF) - (81 Seating Capacity)
- Seminar Room (GF) - (56 Seating Capacity)
- Video Conference Room/Faculty Discussion Room (FF) - (35 Seating Capacity)
- Recording Studio (2-3 Members - Podcasting/Interviews - Academic Purpose Only)
C. Note:
1. No charges will be applicable for IITH academic, administrative and research activities.
2. Charges will apply for conducting events such as conferences, seminars, workshops, training programs, etc., where registration fees are collected.
3. Payments shall be made through the Library's assigned QR code provided by the Accounts Team.
