CBR Floriade FilOz and Beyond Badminton Tournament (formerly CBR Floriade All-Filo Badminton Tournament)

🏢Venue: Canberra Badminton Centre, 27 Lithgow St. Fyshwick ACT

🏸Tournament Details:
  1. A pair should consist of at least 1 player of Filipino heritage (for grades B to E)
  2. A Grade - open to all players of any heritage.
  3. Single entry only [no multi-category event]
  4. Entrant levels subject to organisers approval
  5. The organisers reserve the right to reclassify any entry before or during the event if a player is found to have knowingly provided false or misleading information regarding their skill level or competition category.
  6. The organisers reserve the right to dissolve a category/grade if there is not enough players, and offer the registered entrant a spot elsewhere or refund.

Categories:
  1. Non-Gender Doubles (could be a MD, WD, XD pair) | Grade/Level: A - E
  2. Mixed Doubles (Exclusive) | Grade/Level: C -E
  3. Non-Gender Veterans Doubles (45yo and over, 1 category/level only)

Tournament Format:

Group Stage Round Robin to determine ranking followed by Single Elimination Semi-Final.

✨Organisers reserve the right to close registrations prior to the advertised deadline once all available slots have been filled.

🛑Cancellation Policy: 
Cancel on or before 6th of September 2026 for a full refund
Player replacement deadline:  on 13th of September 2026 (of the same level, subject to organisers approval)

I acknowledge that my participation in the CBR Floriade FilOz and Beyond Badminton Tournament (formerly CBR Floriade All-Filo Badminton Tournament), to be held on 20 September 2026, is entirely voluntary and undertaken at my own risk. I understand and accept that FilOz ACT Badminton Group shall not be held liable for any physical or psychological injury, illness, disability, or loss of life that may occur in connection with my participation in the event.


Disclaimer of Loss

I understand that FilOz ACT Badminton Group is not responsible for any loss, theft, or damage to my personal property, nor for any injury, illness, or other harm arising from my participation in the tournament, including any pre-existing medical conditions.


Limitation of Liability

I acknowledge that FilOz ACT Badminton Group shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from my participation in the tournament, including but not limited to loss of income, business interruption, or any other related losses or damages.


Release of Claims

In consideration of being permitted to participate in the CBR Floriade FilOz and Beyond Badminton Tournament (formerly CBR Floriade All-Filo Badminton Tournament), I release and discharge FilOz ACT Badminton Group, its organisers, administrators, volunteers, and Tournament Committee from any and all claims, demands, liabilities, or legal actions arising from or related to my participation in the event, including those resulting from negligence or unforeseen circumstances.


Media Consent

I consent to the taking and use of photographs, videos, and other recordings of me during the event for social media, promotional materials, marketing, and other related purposes. I understand that such images and recordings may be published and shared publicly.


Sponsorship Acknowledgement

By providing my contact details, I consent to FilOz ACT Badminton Group sharing this information with its event sponsors. I understand that sponsors may contact me with updates, offers, promotions, or other information relevant to the event and their services.
