During September and October, Illuminate.org is working with 12+ muralists, Paint the Void non profit and community groups to transform JFK Promenade in Golden Gate Park into a whimsical, inspirational oasis.  In addition to the murals, we will have large scale art exhibits and live performances - all free for the public to enjoy!

We will need volunteers to work with our artists to help paint large-scale installations, beautify curbs and otherwise bring joy and allure to this 1.5-mile space in Golden Gate Park.  

Requirements:  A sense of adventure, works well with others, understands the artist is in charge and will direct where/how to paint, doesn't mind getting dirty or a little covered in paint, and appreciates that clean up is a fun group activity. All ages welcome, but volunteers 16 and under must be accompanied by a parent.  Parking will be limited - shuttle might be available, but volunteers should be comfortable walking 20 min as necessary (water source, restrooms, etc.)
