— Your @alumni.saic.edu address is NOT an email account; it does not store or send emails. It simply forwards messages automatically to the personal email address you provide below. It is NOT a Google account; you will not be able to log into Gmail using the @alumni.saic.edu address.   

— Your @alumni.saic.edu address will NOT forward emails sent to your former @saic.edu student email account; that account will be deactivated. Any messages sent to your former @saic.edu account after its closure will bounce back to the sender. 

HOW TO SIGN UP FOR ALUMNI EMAIL FORWARDING:
Step 1 — Fill out this form with your name and personal, NON-SAIC email address (examples: name@gmail.com, name@yahoo.com) to which your alumni.saic.edu emails will be forwarded.
Step 2 — Your request will be processed within 7-10 business days.

What is an alumni forwarding service?
-An opportunity to mask your personal email address with an SAIC-related/branded email address. It will NOT actually receive or store messages or other data.

What will my new alumni forwarding address be?
-Your new forwarding address will be just like your SAIC email, but will end in alumni.saic.edu  (I.e. if your saic.edu email is jsmith@saic.edu your new address will be jsmith@alumni.saic.edu)

How will I know when my new alumni forwarding address has been created?
- Your account will be created in 7-10 business days from submission and you will receive a confirmation email from accounts@saic.edu sent to the personal email account you provide.

What if I made a mistake and want to change info on this form?
-Please DO NOT fill it out the form again; instead email accounts@saic.edu and we can get any issues resolved.
