Saturday Art Club at The Union for Contemporary Art, Spring 2019 Application
Saturday Art Club is a free weekly program for children and youth residing in North Omaha. Hands-on lessons in the visual arts, urban agriculture, cooking, and other creative disciplines are designed to instill valuable life skills and help lay the foundation for self-directed discovery and lifelong learning. Each Saturday, youth work with local or visiting teaching artists to explore different art mediums, concepts, and histories. This year, Saturday Art Club members will cook and create art projects inspired by exhibitions in The Union's Wanda D. Ewing Gallery.
