It was established to meet the community's need for a sufficient number of nursing professionals, thereby contributing to the improvement of healthcare in Al-Qadisiyah Governorate. However, the spirit of this college is inseparable from the depth of its origins, as its roots extend to Nippur, the ancient Sumerian city that was once a flourishing center of religious and scientific learning, and a cradle of wisdom and knowledge in the civilizations of Mesopotamia.
Nippur was once a center for scholars and priests, where values were formulated and laws were codified, today's college builds upon that legacy, but with a spirit focused on science and health knowledge.
