Join filmmaker and screenwriter Melissa Sweazy as she takes you through an interactive, creative journey of writing a short movie script! From brainstorming to structure to character arcs, you'll discover many of the rules of screenwriting, and then...how to break them!

Melissa Anderson Sweazy is an award-winning screenwriter (Austin Film Festival Finalist for THE DEVIL IN REVERSE, Grand Prize at Vail and Nashville Film Festival, finalist at Nantucket for THE DEPARTMENT OF SIGNS AND MAGICAL INTERVENTION) & filmmaker (Indie Memphis Best Hometowner Short for JOHN’S FARM, Indie Memphis Best Homeowner Doc Short “AJ,” Special Jury Prize for Best Ensemble at Oxford Film Festival for DEPT OF SIGNS).
