In 2025-26 SoundPoint is expanding with Chamber Music Experience and a new level--Training Orchestra! Because our website isn't yet updated to reflect the new schedules and pricing, you can find it here. 

Schedule:
   4:00-5:10 Chamber Music Experience (open to Intermediate and Advanced players)
   5:15- 6:00 All Music Theory classes, Suzuki Group Class, Early Readers Music and Motion
   6:05-6:25 ALL SPS SING!

   6:30 Orchestras (as below)
         6:30-7:00 Suzuki Music and Motion
         6:30-7:15 Early Readers and Training Orchestra
         6:30-7:45 Intermediate and Advanced Orchestras

Prices are per-semester, and your commitment is to the entire year.

    Single classes

       $150  Suzuki Group Class or Early Readers Pre-Orchestra (includes Music and Motion)

       $180  Training Orchestra (includes Basic Theory)

       $210  Intermediate or Advanced Orchestra

       $  75  Music and Motion ONLY (for younger siblings of SoundPoint students)

       $  75  Parents' Circle ONLY (open to friends of SPS who don't currently have students enrolled)

  Combination Classes for upper division students

*Combination 2: There is a schedule gap between Chamber Music Experience and orchestra: parents need to arrange supervision of their child during that time.  SPS cannot supervise, and students must not roam the building when they are not in class.

       $ 525  Orchestra, Music Theory AND Chamber Music Experience  ($175 savings)

About the new classes

      Training Orchestra is for students who have passed Early Readers, to prepare them for the pace and difficulty of the 

       Intermediate Orchestra.  All Training Orchestra students take Basic Theory as part of their class offering!

     Chamber Music Experience is open to students in Intermediate and Advanced Orchestras.  

        There are two 6-week sessions per semester, as follows:

        Week 1: Workshop Intensive! Topics cover a wide range of topics, such as 

              * how to speak the "chamber music language", 

              * healthy warm-ups, 

              * deep dive into rhythmic complexities, 

              * business tips for young musicians, 

              * using listening to magnify your playing, 

                              and more.

       Week 2-5  Coachings/rehearsals (students will play in different groups each 6-week session)

       Week 6  Chamber Ensemble Performance, with a possible run-out to a community service location
