Buffalo Arts Studio’s exhibition program presents new works by emerging and established artists that critically address contemporary issues. Buffalo Arts Studio’s internationally recognized exhibitions program includes 8-10 solo and/or group exhibitions in our two main galleries, attracting over 13,000 visitors annually. All solo exhibitions are professionally curated and include an exhibition catalog with images and essays. The 2000 square feet of gallery space features museum-quality track lighting fitted with LED bulbs and commercial quality display surfaces within a historic industrial building.
Buffalo Arts Studio 2019/20 exhibition calendar will reflect the belief that artists and curators can effect change through purposeful collaborations that balance community need with artistic insight. This series of exhibitions will be curated with the intent to not only display powerful visual statements, but to also spur dialogue between varied audiences and to open doors to social, economic, and environmental justice. Together, these programs realize the Buffalo Arts Studio mission to provide exposure for visual artists while creating community cultural connections through exhibitions, public art, and educational programs.
