Community Care Series: Wednesdays 5:30-7pm PT, October 29-December 10 (No class November 26)

In this series, we’ll explore skills and practices that support community and relational care. Each session focuses on a framework or set of tools that can help prepare us to navigate relationships, care for connection, share authentically, and meet the complexity of conflict. Our mindfulness practice is a key component to learning these skills, helping us to know clearly our inner landscape and to attune to others. Through inner and relational practice we can become clear and confident communicators and deepen our relationship with ourselves and others.

Highlights:

  • Honestly honor, connect, and care for our inner landscape of feelings, thoughts, and needs

  • Communicate to understand and be understood

  • Cultivate curiosity and resourcing in order to support resilience in the face of challenge

Each session will be co-led by two of our Dharma Homies teachers, integrating meditation, relational practice, and depth of content.

October 29: Honoring our Conditioning, Feelings, and Needs with Sarwang and Khalila

November 5: Sharing our Hearts with T and Devon

Do you have any access needs at this time that you wish to share with facilitators?
Access needs refer to the accommodations and adjustments individuals require to fully participate. The concept of access needs is rooted in disability justice, recognizing that everyone has the right to participate fully in all aspects of life.

We want to make sure this event is accessible to as many as possible while valuing our time and our livelihood. We offer a sliding-scale tier inspired by The Green Bottle model by Worts + Cunning.

Please name which tier rate you will you be able to offer for this series and how much.

*

*Please pay at the highest rate you're able without causing stress or economic hardship. 10% of all fees goes to BIPOC scholarship fund and determines the amount of scholarships we can offer.

HIGH: $500-$375

*Covers our teachers and administrative needs. Paying on the higher end of this range also supports financially-accessible programming.

Considerations: I comfortably meet all basic needs. I own or rent a higher-end home, own or lease a car, and am employed or not required to work. I have healthcare access, some savings, and manageable debt. I can afford this rate.

MIDDLE: $375-$275

*Covers our teachers time

Considerations: I sometimes stress about meeting basic needs but consistently meet them. I have some debt that does not limit access to necessities. I am employed, have a car, access to healthcare, some savings, and expendable income. Paying a higher rate would cause financial hardship.

LOW: $275-$150

*Contributes to supporting teachers

Considerations: I occasionally struggle to meet my budget and have debt that limits my expendable income. I rent lower-end housing, have limited or no car access. Paying a higher rate would cause significant financial hardship.

Our offerings are tier-based and reflect the value of the teachers time and experience. You are encouraged to pay at a tier that meets your financial reality.

However in case you cannot access tier without sincere financial hardship, we are happy to offer limited BIPOC scholarships to support access.

If you require a scholarship to access this course at this time; please list how much you can contribute towards this series.
