ABOUT HANGA-HUBs

HANGA-Hubs identifies and nurtures young tech talent by offering the necessary support services to enable them transition from idea to prototype to market entry.

HANGA-Hubs is an action funded by the European Commission and it is  implemented by RISA. It operates in MUHANGA, NYAGATARE, RUBAVU and RUSIZI. The action is part of the Rwanda Government’s and the European Union’s efforts to support the private sector development and job creation in Rwanda through Innovation and Incubation hubs. 

The project was created to address the obstacles and gaps that limit the growth of tech enabled start-ups, especially those in their early stages, by offering them with services and facilities that can help them survive and thrive.

Application into Inaugural  Ideation Program is open until Feb 2023. 

APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS

● Applications are submitted online

● The Applicant is required to fill up all mandatory fields

● Applications must be submitted in English/French or Kinyarwanda

● Applicants must follow the pitch deck template below for submission

● We accept application from Individuals and Teams of people

● Shortlisted applicants will need to be available during the Bootcamps

● Late applications will not be accepted

● Attendance: Interested participants agree to be present on time at the venue to be indicated on the key event calendar.

● Intellectual Property: Interested participants declare they own industrial property rights including logos, Trademark, Brand, and their proposals, and by accepting the terms and conditions they declare they do not infringe any intellectual property right. The intellectual property and business ideas presented will remain the property of the participants who submitted/presented them.

● Confidentiality: Organizers guarantee confidentiality regarding ideas presented. Organizers inform that regulations regarding personal data protection will be respected.

● Others: Organizers reserve the right to change these conditions at any time before the scheduled date and change must be announced publicly.
