The Booster Club is transitioning to the Deerwood PTO (Parent Teacher Organization) for the 2021/2022 school year. The goal of this transition is to encourage more family involvement, improve communication and foster a more inclusive community. One essential aspect is engaging staff and getting new ideas! The PTO will work with Jeremy and Tom to begin crafting a budget for next year and we need to hear from you! What are ways the PTO can fulfill its purpose for next year?

The PTO will:
- Raise money for DW in cooperation with the staff and administration.
- Enhance the educational experience for our student, family and staff community through thoughtful distribution of funds.
- Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Sponsor school events and programs.
- Coordinate volunteers for sponsored school events and programs.

Are there beloved Deerwood traditions that need some new funding/resources? An artist/activity that you have encountered that would make a high impact in our community? New ideas/projects that you have heard working well at other schools?
