Thank you for your interest in the 2019 Decatur Yoga Teacher Training Program! Ready to take your practice to the next level? Learn the essence of yoga, advance your practice and develop confidence while you find your voice. if you want to teach, our training program will help you establish a successful career as a yoga teacher.

In this training, you will learn:
- The proper alignment, benefits and potential risks of foundational yoga postures
- Principles of anatomy and how they apply to each posture
- The science and art of sequencing a yoga class
- Hands on adjustments
- How to observe and see bodies
- Confidence through practice teaching
- Yoga history and philosophy

This foundational yoga training is designed to give you a transformative experience. Holistically, the training will cultivate an awareness of how to be with others in your own unique voice and style. Form a technical perspective, this training will enable you to make a clear distinction between, and teach, beginner classes, level 1 classes, vinyasa classes, and one on one private sessions. The training will greatly enhance your personal practice and will bring a more refined personal technique into your teaching style.

Graduates will be able to register with Yoga Alliance as a 200 Hour RYT.

We strongly recommend that applicants have at least one year of consistent asana practice. If your yoga practice does not meet those criteria, please provide us with an explanation on a separate sheet of paper.

To reserve a place in the training you must submit your application online and then mail or drop off in person a deposit of $500 to Decatur Yoga at 431 W Ponce de Leon Ave, Suite 9, Decatur, GA 30030.

*In order to receive the early registration price, your tuition must be made in full by the early registration deadline of December 1, 2018.
