College Application Readiness Symposium
The College Application Readiness Symposium (CARS) is a program tailored to Coral Gables Senior High School juniors designed to educate students on the upcoming college application process. The program will include insightful presentations, engaging activities, and ameliorative workshops. CARS will be held on  June 6 - 8, 2016 (7:15 a.m - 11:45 p.m), and will conclude with a MANDATORY College Essay Review Appointment on Friday June 10, 2016. Students are expected to collaborate and cooperate with their peers in order to achieve a greater understanding of what the college application process entails. In order to qualify for CARS, students must have no more than 9 absences and/or 19 tardies, and have at least a 3.0 unweighted GPA.

I also assume full responsibility of my transportation and meals throughout the week. I understand I am committing to attend CARS, and in doing so, will forfeit my privilege to participate in extracurricular events during my senior year (i.e. Grad Bash, Senior Picnic, etc.), and will be subject to a $50.00 financial obligation should I fail to fulfill this commitment.
